Turnkey Department Solution

ICU & Isolation Rooms Engineered for Containment You Can Verify

Negative and positive pressure isolation environments — airtight envelopes, interlocked anterooms, HEPA-filtered exhaust, and continuous pressure monitoring — supplied to contractors and EPC teams as one coordinated system. When containment is the specification, the interfaces cannot be left to chance.

Why Isolation Rooms Demand an Integrated Scope

A pressure cascade is only as good as its weakest joint.

An isolation room that reads −15 Pa on the gauge but leaks through an unsealed panel joint, a poorly fitted door, or an uncoordinated service penetration is not an isolation room — it is a liability. Containment performance is a whole-envelope property: walls, doors, anterooms, HVAC, and monitoring must be engineered together and verified together. ICARELIFE supplies that envelope as one system, with one party accountable for the result.

Airtight panel systems with sealed joints and coordinated service penetrations
Hermetic doors and interlocked anterooms designed against the same envelope
Negative or positive cascade design per room type — infectious, protective, or switchable
Continuous differential-pressure monitoring with local display and alarm output
HEPA-filtered exhaust paths engineered for safe filter change-out
Tender-ready submittals: airtightness data, commissioning protocols, warranties
Scope of Supply

The complete isolation envelope, from one supplier

Configured for infectious isolation, protective isolation, or ICU bays — quoted as a line-item bill of quantities for tender or purchase order.

🧱

Airtight Wall & Ceiling Systems

Sealed modular panels with coved trim and gasketed joints — washable, disinfectant-resistant, and engineered for envelope airtightness.

🚪

Hermetic & Interlock Doors

Automatic sliding hermetic doors with anteroom interlock logic — the cascade holds even during patient and staff movement.

🌀

Negative Pressure HVAC

Supply and extract design delivering stable cascades, air change rates, and HEPA-filtered exhaust per room classification.

📟

Pressure Monitoring Panels

Room-side differential-pressure displays with alarms and BMS output — containment status visible at a glance, continuously.

🪟

Anterooms & Pass-Throughs

Gowning anterooms, interlocked pass boxes, and vision panels configured to your infection-control workflow.

⚕️

Medical Gas & Bedhead Units

Gas outlets, bedhead trunking, isolation power, and nurse-call provisions coordinated on one utility matrix.

UNOPS Procurement: Respiratory Protection for COVID-19 Frontliners

At the height of the pandemic, UNOPS procured ICARELIFE powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR) for frontline health workers in the Philippines — international-agency vetting of our respiratory protection and contamination-control engineering, the same discipline behind every isolation environment we supply.

Common Questions

Isolation room project questions, answered

Infectious (source) isolation uses negative pressure to keep contaminated air inside the room, protecting the ward. Protective isolation uses positive pressure to keep unfiltered air out, protecting immunocompromised patients. The envelope engineering is similar; the cascade direction, exhaust strategy, and anteroom logic differ — and both can be combined in switchable designs where the program requires it.
Frequently, yes. Retrofit feasibility depends on ceiling void depth for extract ducting, available plant capacity, and achievable envelope airtightness. We assess these during layout review and advise whether a full conversion, an anteroom addition, or a portable-extract interim solution best fits the building.
Commissioning includes differential-pressure verification across all operating states — doors closed, anteroom transit, and HVAC failure response — plus visual and smoke verification of airflow direction at door gaps and penetrations, documented against the commissioning protocol we issue with the supply package.
Both. We supply single-room retrofits through to complete isolation wards and ICU floors. Multi-room projects benefit from shared HVAC plant design, common monitoring architecture, and consolidated logistics.
We routinely quote DDP to site, handling export documentation, freight, and customs clearance — so your team receives labelled, room-sequenced packages ready for installation.
