FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Only if your facility has approved it for that use. The 2–5°C range suits temperature-sensitive medicines and preparations, but blood products normally fall under blood-bank equipment with its own validation, monitoring and traceability requirements. Confirm against your transfusion service's protocol before specifying.
The cabinet raises a power-failure alarm so the condition is noticed rather than discovered later. Where continuous monitoring matters, connect it to your facility's alarm or building management system and define the escalation procedure in your protocol.
Embedded. The cabinet is designed for installation into the operating-room wall so the door sits flush with the finish, which matters both for cleanability and for keeping the corridor clear. Confirm wall thickness and service access before ordering.
Medical warming cabinets
Many theatres specify both: warming for fluids and blankets, cold storage for medicines, in the same wall run.
